What is a Biodigester?
Aerobic Biodigesters are the newest treatment methodology for high-strength organic waste. They are extremely efficient because microbes are exponentially more effective at digesting organics, fats/oils/greases, and hydrocarbons if they have a fixed film media surface on which to live.
Aerobic Biodigester technology has been limited in the past by the type of aeration used. New developments in bubble size have expanded the use of biodigesters for high strength waste.
Because they consolidate the footprint for aerobic digestion, they are becoming an excellent alternative to DAF and SAF systems. They use less horsepower and eliminate the need for costly chemicals. They dramatically reduce the sludge generated by DAF and SAF systems by digesting the organic materials.

Bio 15
The Biodigester 15 is a fully self-contained, portable aerobic digester with a poly tank and poly skid. It repressurizes water from its finish water tank so that the water can be reused or discharged to a sanitary sewer. Bio 20
The Biodigester 20 is a fully self-contained aerobic digester made from marine-grade aluminum or stainless steel. It can either discharge to a sanitary sewer or repressurize water from its finish water tank for reuse. Horizontal biodigesters with an over/under weir system are the most effective design available. Bio 25
The Biodigester 25 is a fully self-contained aerobic digester made from marine-grade aluminum or stainless steel. It can either discharge to a sanitary sewer or repressurize water from its finish water tank for reuse. The Bio25 has a front deck for the pumps and re-pressurization system, making maintenance very simple. This unit is widely deployed with hundreds in current use. Bio 35
The Biodigester 35 is a fully self-contained aerobic digester made from marine-grade aluminum or stainless steel. It can either discharge to a sanitary sewer or repressurize water from its finish water tank for reuse. The Bio35 has a front deck for the pumps and re-pressurization system, making maintenance very simple. This unit is a larger version of the 25 and contains a finish water tank on board. Bio 60
The Biodigester 60 is a fully self-contained aerobic digester made from marine-grade aluminum or stainless steel. Functions include recirculation from treatment tanks for accelerated bioreaction, discharge to a sanitary sewer, or re-pressurization of treated water from its finish water tank for reuse. Bio 90
The Biodigester 90 is a fully self-contained aerobic digester made from marine-grade aluminum or stainless steel. Functions include recirculation from treatment tanks for accelerated bioreaction, discharge to a sanitary sewer, or re-pressurization of treated water from its finish water tank for reuse. The Bio90 has a separate skid for the pumps and re-pressurization system and an optional separate finish water tank.

Bio 250
The Biodigester 250 is a fully self-contained aerobic digester made from carbon steel, epoxy coated on the interior. Functions include recirculation from treatment tanks for accelerated bioreaction. The Bio250 has a separate container for recirculation and spray bar pumps and controls.
